While co-oping at Kaleidoscope Innovation, I was able to team up with May We Help, a non-profit in Cincinnati, and the Kaleidoscope team to help improve the daily life of a 10 year old boy.

MEET LEO!
Leo is a fun loving 10 year old boy! Without his glasses
and hearing aids he cannot hear or see. Some days, he
has to choose between the ability to hear or see due to
the irritation that both the glasses and hearing aids cause.
No one should have to choose between two basic human senses.
DESIGN GOAL:
- Create a way to comfortably wear glasses and hearing aids
- eliminate irritation around the ears
- easy to use
- full access to buttons on the hearing aids.
Problem Areas
Flat nose causes his
glasses to fall of constantly.
(generally has to push glasses
up once every 6 seconds)
His glasses push down
on the hearing aid causing it to dig into his ear.

- fit almost any pair of glasses
- be discreet
- work for adults and kids

Tested Model
Leo was mailed a test print of the"Otto" to see how fit and felt.
After receiving feedback the team is going to send a more durable molded model with the slight adjustments.
